Hi Chuck -

It has been varied on and off, turned on and off, deleted, recreated
auto and manually (via a RTVCFGSRC), controller reconfigured, you name
it - you WRKCFGSTS *CTL RM* and see the controller ACTIVE and all the
devices under it VARY ON PENDING ! ! ! !

We've had problems with our Perle controllers in similiar circumstances, but I don't recall an occasion where the controller has actually come to ACTIVE without the devices.

The only thing I can think of that it sounds like you haven't done is to delete the APPN device and let it auto-configure.
