Common (on web site) have stated they will not charge
the $100 fee to local or commuters. They also said the deal with hotel is
they
get charged (which ultimately means we pay more for future conferences) if
hotel has less than # contracted. And do not book hotel thru an agent, must
be thru Common Housing Bureau!
To me - it all works out the same - we either pay more for conference (and
stay whereever)
or do it this way. (and i have no employer to pay my way). This is a
"common" practice in the hotel/convention industry (much of which is running
on iSeries!).
