Jeff,

Did that last Saturday and it was no big deal in the amount of time it
took. BRMS at V5R2 with the Backup/Recovery Group PTF's applied has
been fine so far.

<HTH>

Mike Shaw

Subject: V5R2 and BRMS

I noticed some discussion on the LUG board about the BRMS file
conversion
that is part of the V5R2 upgrade. Has anyone here experienced an
extended conversion even though they reorged the files as IBM suggests?
Was the conversion estimating procedure -
http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/service/brms/new.htm -
accurate? Did you experience any BRMS issues afterwards?
