This has happened with me as well. It may be one of the subtle
things IBM is doing to encourage migration to V5R2. You can load ptfs to an
image catalog on V5R2 and perform a verification with a sort so that all of
those CD image files are in the right order. You can't load ptfs to an
image catalog on V5R1 and IBM does not plan to provide that facility for
V5R1. I've asked them.

Subject: iPTF via FTP & sequence?

Ok, is this just me?

I ordered the latest V5R1 group ptf for Websphere Express ... it was
comprised of 4 CD's.

The order comprised of the following files on the ftp server ...

iptf0052_1.bin
iptf0052_2.bin
iptf0052_3.bin
iptf0052_4.bin

I just assumed that iptf0052_1.bin was CD #1, iptf0052_2.bin was CD #2, etc.

I was, however, incorrect in that assumption.

Turns out that bin file #1 was truly CD #1, but bin file #2 was actually CD
#4, bin file #3 was CD #3, and bin file #4 was CD #2.

Kind of frustrating.
