Do you have performance or accounting aspects in mind?
If performance, Collection Services puts a lot of performance data about 
jobs in QAPMJOBMI and QAPMJOBOS files (you can find description of 
Collection Services in InfoCenter - it's in Systems 
Management->Peformance->Applications for performance).
If accounting, you can set up accounting journal and get information about 
resource usage. (Search on "Job accouting" in InfoCenter.)
