Damn straight - $1000 for the modem (and min 2 hours @ $250/hr to install) is ridiculous. I found a supplier on the web, bought 2 replacements at $100 each and had them overnighted. EDI was back up 5 minutes after the box got there; no lost business, slight inconvenience. I consider it a cheap lesson; now I have a backup. I am lucky it was a Monday, which is a slow order day for us. That said, I appreciate the offer! I am also still wondering if the EDI could have been setup to run over the internal ECS modem somehow . . . Take care!
