Glenn, You can take a look at the user profile handle API's. In the manuals there are pieces of code (parts of a CLP-programme) that shows how to do this. Using that code you can write your own wrapper. You can your unauthorized users swap to a profile that has authority. Then they can (under that new acquired authority) get to the folders. Of course, any user can now do anything erroneously. A good auditing might be in place (if this can be audited).
