Yup, if the reason is that the group PTF is on order, it would be great if
they showed the status for the group as On Order.  That kinda, sorta, by
default, says it ain't installed!  But then again there's that gray area
known as vaporware.....  :-)

It would be really GREAT if they back leveled this fix to V5R2 as well.
It's going to be around awhile..........

Thanks for the info, I have verified that as soon as you order a group PTF
the status changes to "Not installed" and the new PTF status changes to
either "On order only" or "Not found" depending on whether or not the order
actually goes through.

Why my system called in and "updated" the Group PTF status is still unclear.
Supportline has told me that an APAR has been opened and this behavior will
be "fixed" in the next release.
