I run RTVDSKINF as part of the nightlies and then run a query over QAEZDISK. The queries show the size of *INTSYSJRN can range between 86 mb and 1 gb. For example, *INTSYJRN was 1 gb on 6/20, 480 mb on 7/14, 1 gb on 7/15 and 7/16, and 86 mb on 7/17. The DASD usage appears to be related to JRNID 100001. I don't know squat about access paths. Is 1 gb excessive? What accounts for the large variation in size? We are at 61% utilization of 120 gb DASD. . Bryan Burns System Operator ECHO Incorporated Lake Zurich, Illinois 847-540-8400 ext. 493
