Probably not, I believe that you need to have 5733AS3 installed to be
entitled to the free copy.

The IBM press release reads:

"Current customers who have WAS SE (V3.02 or V3.5) and SW subsription can
get
1 copy of WAS Express per iSeries serial number(at no additional charge.)
You must have ordered WAS SE before 1/28/2003.  If you do not already have
WAS 3.xx it will cost $2K per CPU or $25 per user(in 20 user increments.)"

We have licence programme 5769AS1 of IBM Websphere Application Server
installed on our iSeries which is at OS400 level V5R1. I understand that
this the standard edition of WAS version V2.0.3.1. I am looking to use WAS
for Webafcing. Can anyone tell me if I am entitled to a free copy of WAS
express because I have this standard edition of WAS  ?
