I think the new hardware only runs on V5R2. I'd update the old box to V4R5.
Then to V5R2 since you can't go from V4R3 to V5R2. This is what we did
prior to getting our 810. (From 720). I'm doing test reloads now.

We are currently running WAY downstream on release 4.3 (but it works
beautifully!).

With new 400 boxes on their way in the 4th quarter, we are thinking of
swapping our old workhorse for a newer model with more kick.

Do/should we have to upgrade the old box to the current level 5 release of
OS or can we convert to the new box directly from 4.3?

I think we have to get to 4.5 first before installing anything newer. If
that is true, can we make the 4.5 change on the old box and then move all
to
the new one? Can you install from the old 4.3 box onto the new 5 something
box straight away?

Any assistance would be appreciated.
