Thanks Rob.

I looked at that, but did not see a way to pass a value from a field of the 
updated row as a parm.

Also, is there a down side to using SQL Triggers?

Either:

1)  Use a ADDPFTRG versus a SQL Trigger
2)  Make your RPG program a stored procedure.  (See CREATE PROCEDURE).
