Have you tried a CPYF QSYS/QAQQINI YOURLIB/QAQQINI CRTFILE(*YES) ? IMHO
this is better because you may not want the trigger program(s) attached to
your copy of the file.

Subject: Triggers on QAQQINI

I'm trying to CRTDUPOBJ of the QSYS/QAQQINI file but cannot, due to active
triggers on the file. I'm at V5R2. Any clues as to why they are there and
how can I proceed to create a duplicate? The manuals state that QSYS/QAQQINI
is a template and should not be used and therefore should be copied via
CRTDUPOBJ. I want to create the duplicate in Qusrsys.

What I want to accomplish is the elimination of error messages being added
to the job log every time a program attempts to use this file and cannot
find it. I see a lot of messages being logged to the effect that "file
QAQQINI in library QUSRSYS was not found". I have a lot of ILE RPG with
embedded SQL that generates this message.

Secondly, how do I populate this file with the query "parms" that the system
is looking for?

Thanks in advance, Jerry Kern
