The only tool I know is AFP Toolbox, it's a very complete set for printing. Can do paragraph, tables, outline fonts, text justification, various allignements and so on... The output is very professional and Infoprint server can translate in pdf, don't know aboout other products. With AFP utility you got some support to transform SCS printer files in AFPDS adding overlays, page segment, boxes, shadings and selecting fonts and allignement for the text. I don't know if can do paragraph. You can get more information about the various AFP tools in this book: AS/400 Guide to Advanced Function Presentation and Print Services Facility code: S544-5319-03 HTH Marco --- Jim Franz <franz400@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > We have a recent post on centering text, but my problem > is much more complex. > I'm printing text using various typographic fonts, mostly > Times New Roman (font 2308 and > 2309 for bold), at various pitch sizes from 9 thru 14 in > DDS print file type *afpds. > I need to center or line wrap that! > So centering needs to be based on not only character > count, but width, and different > between pitch size & upper/lower.
