It's not just you. I had this same issue this week. Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Benjamin Franklin "Frances Denoncourt" <Frances.Denoncourt@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 08/27/2003 01:07 PM Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion To: <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc: Fax to: Subject: STRQMQRY: retain formatting I have researched this in the archives and thought I found the solution with this post "At the risk of looking dumb (again), when I run STRQMQRY against a query definition, I don't get any of the query's formatting. (Column headings, summary functions, report breaks, etc. are ignored). " The response: "Run RTVQMFORM on the query and then CRTQMFORM. Specify your form in STRQMQRY. Pete Hall" My problem is that the column headings were retained but the numeric data formatting was not. I had already been passing parms OK (using ALWQRYDFN *Yes). I tried the RTV and CRT commands above and then used the form in the STRQMQRY command in my CL. Looks the same. Column heading OK. Numeric formatting not.
