I've also found the hotel phone fees to be exorbitant but I also found that if you ask ahead of time they quite often have Plan II which is only gouging instead of pillaging, looting, and gouging. Don't all the conferences deal with this is in their hotel negotiations? The New England Conference in Framingham Massachusetts in the Spring of each year does, I believe. A mighty fine conference it is, too. --------------------------------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.MartinVT.com Booth@xxxxxxxxxxxx --------------------------------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Date: Tuesday, September 16, 2003 10:47:29 To: 'Midrange Systems Technical Discussion' Subject: RE: COMMON at Gaylord Palm, Orlando Just a word of warrning: It's not just the Gaylord Palms that charges exorbinant amounts for LD, hotels are notorious for it, that's why whenever I travel I stop @ Walmart and get one of those .05 minute calling cards. Just make sure they also don't charge crazy amt's for local or 800 access also!! -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of G Armour Sent: Tuesday, September 16, 2003 11:25 AM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion; floridainfo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: COMMON at Gaylord Palm, Orlando Leo, Last I heard, Midrange-L had over 900 subscribers. How many people do subscribers talk to that don't subscribe to the list? Thanks for giving us the heads up about Gaylord Palms. I hope COMMON takes note.
