I have already loaded the updater. I did not really see much improvement, but it did not break anything either. Do you ever hang out at Treo Central (www.treocentral.com). It is a great place for info on the Treo (all models). There has been many discussions over there about some negative effects of the updater. Luckily I have not had any problems. cjg Carl J.
