The nice thing about baseball is that it encompasses all the skills and tactics of cricket - but on those occasions when it is boring it only lasts for 3 - 4 hours, almost never ends in a draw, and nobody _ever_ tries to play for a draw. I was a big fan for years but got turned off by too many strikes and a group of over paid millionaires who could give a da*n about the people who are paying their wages.
