Thanks, Joel, for some lucid points.  I use Mozilla on occasion and I'm
not impressed, but that's okay.  Your position on the desktop makes
sense.  Linux is indeed to the point where it might at least serve as a
decent terminal server, which is what Unix has always been good at
anyway.

And if the W3C folks would just get a decent DOM standard in place, we
might all live happily ever after.  Thanks again.
