David you failed to mention the #1 reason.  Its also the reason we should
use specific and cogent subject lines.

The archives are huge.  These questions are good as are the answers.  With
each new subject the archives gain even more value.  Posting to the correct
group improves our chances of finding the answer next time. 
 (this is an opinion of course)

Because there is a separate list specifically for RPG discussion. When
we keep questions in the appropriate list, we help keep the individual
lists on focus.

Um, yes ... big time. iSeries users are not exclusively RPG developers.
    That's why we have COBOL, C, MI, & JAVA lists.
