Andy,

Thanks for the link - keep in mind the reference is
for AS/400 native files, as the snddst can send both
PC type files from a directory or database files, in
either case, the file should exist before you send it.

According to
http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.NSF/0/edd620b73b4020778625699e00607
6a2?OpenDocument

If you are sending a file, there is no need to use the cpytopcd command
first.

Regards
Andy

|
|The mail api is more flexible, and easier to work with, I believe the
|archives have examples and code in order
|to use the api.
|
|Both are capable of attaching a file ( I have only used them for IFS
files,
|I am not sure about native AS/400
|files, as all my e-mails have required text files or csv files)
|
|For snddst, use the parms DOC and FLR (of course you had to put a file
|there
|via cpytopcd first.)
|I use this all the time and even have code creating PDF files there for
|sending reports out.
|
|HTH
