I run www.Netshare400.com  I have a V5R2, V4R4, V4R3, and a spare 170 I might 
be able to
load V4R5 on for 70 days. I would like to get V4R5 with with compilers, but 
have not
found one yet.

You know the programs would need to be compiled for V3R7? Not sure if that is 
what you
meant by compatible. 

I ftp the source from a V5R2 box to V4R3 box, you lose the Type and the 
description on
the source, and have to compile everything. When I FTP I use the file name and 
* for
member so it does the whole source file with one command. Not great but it 
works, as long
as you do not have a . in the member name. 

If socket API's were in V3R7 you could look at writting socket programs to 
transfer the
source.

I would think the data in PFs should FTP fine once the PFs are compiled on the 
V3R7 box. 

I guess there is a reason for you doing this, I hope it is not to save a dollar.
