RE: SndPgmMsg from qtemp/msgfile fails in batch, OK in interactive

More to the point, I suspect it is a different QTEMP. Batch jobs make their
own QTEMP when they begin. Is the CRTMSGF command issued in the batch
process, or is it issued before the batch process is started?

May be a silly question, but is QTEMP in your batch job's lib list?
