How should this be handled?

First, I think that signing on to iSeries Navigator "counts".  Therefore 
it should update your last signon date.

Perhaps if you haven't turned off prompting for the password on iSeries 
Navigator, then the little window should display the last sign on date and 
the number of incorrect signon attempts if you have QDSPSGNINF set.  Would 
that work for you?  If so then a DCR or FRED could be submitted to make 
that change.

I thought this was a great feature until I started looking at my last 
signon
date.  The little window that Client Access pops up for your password also
updates the last signon date (even if it's set to remember and therefore
doesn't pop).  Unless you use a green screen first thing Monday morning, 
you
may never know that someone had used your account.
