You can install the APF print drivers for Windows, that allow you to "print" to an overlay file from the Acrobat reader. The instructions for installing and using this stuff has been posted many times in the past. If I'm not mistaken, there was a section in the FAQ on MIDRANGE.COM that outlined the procedure. I did the obvious and checked out the irs.gov website, but as far as I can tell, they offer only info-only W2 forms. And only PDF files. I am brand new to overlays, and I am being instructed that we create overlays from Word documents, therefore, the W-2 laser form must be in a format that can be imported into Word. From the Word document a series of steps follow that turn it into an *OVL object on the 400. Can a PDF be turned into an AS/400 overlay object?
