Others will or have responded about block mode vs. character mode and how to
set the top record of the subfile.

The only way I know to advance/retreat the screen line by line is to use a
scrollbar. The scroll bar can be clicked to move one line at a time.

The screen shots at

http://www.martinvt.com/Code_Samples/2_subfiles/2_subfiles.html

shows the iSeries scroll bar. When you look at the scroll bar you will
notice the little arrow at the top and bottom of the scroll bar itself.
Clicking those will move the subfile one line at a time.

Subject: Arrow keys + scroll keys

What is the standard key in the AS400 green-screen world for a user to
request that a scrolling screen advances/retreats one line at a time.

Obviously the Page Up/Down keys handle matters one page at a time - and in
PC applications the arrow keys usually handle one line at a time (but these
are not recognized by the 400 are they???).

Any guidance/ideas welcomed,

Thanks,

Chris
