We have been doing a lot of stored procedures, etc from the AS400 to the
SQLServer. We have a need for the DTS package on the SQL SERVER to put a
transaction file on the AS400 and everyone tells me we can't do this without
journaling (commit) because DTS doesn't allow anything to set commit. Is there
a way to do this without commitment control?

Has anyone done this or know how to do this? Perhaps the commit is not in the
DTS area, but in our ODBC connection?
