Hi Paul, I have actually set this parameter to *AFPDS, but it doesn't work. As far as the overlay is concerned, I have tried to specify on the CRTPRTF command as well as within the DDS, but without any results (in both cases, the only thing I get on the report is the data). Can you think of anything else that could cause this? I'm really puzzled... Thanks, Fabrice. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Paul Tykodi Sent: 27 January 2004 17:29 To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: AFP - *OVL issue Hi Fabrice, The printer data stream to be created when your application is passed through an OS/400 printer file is stored in the printer file parameter named "Printer device type". If you set this parameter to *AFPDS, your overlay should appear in the resulting spool file.
