This was the oddest feeling...

I was just maintaining a program with problems of overflowing totals.  This
program was last maintained in October of 1983, more than 20 years ago.  I
have no idea when it was originally written.  As I was doing the work it
dawned upon me that having a 20+ year program still usable and in use is a
phenomenal achievement for the original team that created the concept and
idea of RPG.  

We all owe these guys a lot of credit.
