Hello,

as I've just learned from this list, the client access servers for
database, rmtcmd (and so on) offer an redirection option for the new jobs.
By IP-address I could
sent database access jobs ( ODBC) to their own subsystem. Or rmtcmd jobs
to another.

This option also has an reject possibility, if the job cannot run in the
specified subsystem. So basically, if I force unwanted jobs into an
inactive subsystem, I would
have some basic sort of network security?

Normally, I'd need some exit points programs or a security tool to cover
the open network access options. Could the above be some sort of easy
help?

Regards,

Oliver
