Ken: They are probably 6606 drives. We had an old E04 model we bought in 1991 or 92. The first year the drive failed, we replaced it with another and it ran everyday until last summer when we gave the box away. So, I guess the answer is, you never know when the disk drive grim reaper is going to show up. RAID and a good back up are your best bet. cjg Carl J. I'm not exactly sute what the device numver is foe the 2GB drives in these boxes, but does anyone in the group now what the life expectancy is for these hard drives.
