Steve,

JFLD((PFVCF/VCBLU PFVEH/SBLU *EQ)) OPNID(VCFVEH)

Notes: SCODE exists in PFVEH, and the format (VCFJVEH) is something I just
made up - so is the OPNID and filename in OVRDBF.

The error I get upon execution is, CPF9899 - Field SCODE on QRYSLT parameter
not found.

There are 2 problems that I see here. For simplicity sake let's leave off the OPNID(VCFVEH) parm.

1) OVRDBF VCFVEH SHARE(*YES) should read: OVRDBF VCFJVEH PFVCF SHARE(*YES)

2) FORMAT(VCFJVEH) refers to an externally described file (no records or even members needed, it's only for the description) that must exist at runtime. The SCODE field needs to exist in that file. Of course, in order for it to mean anything the data must be mapped into that format.
