I see what you are saying ... I believe TSM uses BRMS as it's iSeries
"client" ... and now that you mention it, IBM's plan is probably to use some
TSM "client" software on Linux for a backup of that platform...

Let me clarify.  TSM, or Tivoli Storage Manager, is often used to back up 
other clients and/or servers.  Perhaps you should be using this instead of 
BRMS.
