Jeff, How it responds to CPI and LPI will be more from the information that Vern provided about HPT. On the iSeries there will be a IP DEVD involved as I recall. I would also recommend that you check out the IBM Redbooks for printing for more detailed information. I did this many moons ago for a check printer and it worked fine.
