For the older books, I find it useful to go to the old online library site at

<http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pubs/html/as400/online/homeeng1.htm>

and go to the earlier release sites. I don't know if you'll have the same problems with opening this site, however. I see that the Middle East-Asia English link in InfoCenter points to the same place US customers go.
