Might be an idea the check the SEQ parameter on your SAV command to ensure you are saving it AFTER the SAVLIB and not overwriting it.

You job log should still indicate a problem if the SAVLIB is failing.

The ENDOPT on the SAV was *rewind so I would have guessed that it would have
rewound the tape before the DSPTAP.  The DATA Parameter on the DSPTAP was
*SAVRST.

As long as it is OK to do both a SAVLIB and a SAV to the same tape....I'll
look at the CL again and then the job log.  Maybe something is hosing up the
first SAVLIB and my MONMSG is suppressing it.
