We are doing all of our new web development with Java/Websphere/not sure about JSP, with the exception of some IT stuff that is using PHP. Our WebSphere environment runs on Linux for z/VM, though we are now starting to look at moving some part of this to Linux for iSeries. We use MQ Series for much of our cross platform information exchange and I don't think we've had any real interoperability issues. Also, I'm curious how many of you have other platforms such as Unix/Linux/Windows for other business applications ? We are finding more and more shops asking us about interoperability with Unix and Linux based applications. In fact we're currently working on a pSeries/RS6000 based document management solution because of the demand for value add products there. Any feedback would be appreciated.
