No need to change if it still works just fine for you. I do bleeding edge
Java because there is no other cross-platform language I can code in, not
because it is new ( I have enough new stuff to learn, thank you..).

I have a 386 running Windows for Workgroups 3.11 as my primary 5250 client
at work because I don't NEED a P4 for terminal emulation. (What a geezer!)

But, I can't avoid the RPG IV learning curve for ever (and don't tell me
that that there is no learning curve, I have written a little in RPG IV, it
is VERY different from RPG III).  However, I DO like the format and the
language certainly seems to have a more natural syntax when I have to move
between Java, C++ and RPG in a day AND the Relational Web platform we use
(sweet!) is written in RPG IV.  The verdict:  I will become an RPG IV
programmer, and soon, but not because I want to.  I have to. I take my
spinach the same way.....

Yeah, I'm joking, in a grumpy kind of way.
