Would anybody happen to know why, when an RPG DSPLY statement is executed, the message display would be immediately followed by a "Cancel Invite"? I have a test RPG program that CHAINs a file, based on a value passed as a parameter, then DSPLYs a field from the record. If I run it from a 3477, the DISPLAY PROGRAM MESSAGES screen appears, with the DSPLY result, and stays there until I "Press Enter to continue." But if I run the same test program from our TN5250e emulator, the DISPLAY PROGRAM MESSAGES screen appears for barely a split second, then goes away without waiting for a response. A data stream trace shows that a CANCEL INVITE was received, and our emulator dutifully acknowledged it according to RFC 1205. -- JHHL
