what it shows in Table and Views depends on the access to the login, with which 
you created the Linked server. I have done this with Oracle server and not sure 
if same applies to as400.
Try to run some query and see if it works.

I am in need of some documentation/help to
create a linked server in SQL server.  I
follow the steps the MS says to do, but I
do not get any results when i click on Table
or Views....

Is there a IBM document that shows the path
to configure this?????
