The QNTC thing is supposed to look like IFS...  maybe it would work.

When I get my v5r3 box up and running I'll have to give it a try.

The images are in IFS - you CRTIMGCLG first, which needs a directory in
IFS.

Going through QNTC might be a stretch - but that's what users are
supposed 
to do - whatever the developer did not think of.  ;-)

As I heard once, when IBM moves, you adjust and look for the new 
opportunities, which are always there.
