Slightly tangential, but shouldn't there be a comma after the select of fhonm? Rob Berendt -- Group Dekko Services, LLC Dept 01.073 PO Box 2000 Dock 108 6928N 400E Kendallville, IN 46755 http://www.dekko.com "Reeve" <news@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 07/10/2004 12:38 PM Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To "'Midrange Systems Technical Discussion'" <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc Subject SQL under the covers Is there any way to see the "created" SQL statement for something like this: C+ Declare Input cursor for select C+ fhpro, C+ fhonm C+ fhfamt + fhjamt as qnetfee, C+ fhsua3 C+ from frp001 C+ Order by C+ case C+ when :qrfld = 'QQQ104' then fhpro C+ when :qrfld = 'QQQ105' then fhonm C+ when :qrfld = 'QQQ111' then fhsua3 C+ else null C+ end, Looking at the generated SQL code (with the SQL includes, SQLCA, etc.) doesn't tell me much. I have a reason for wanting to do this; it has something to do with debugging.I think.
