Dear Tim,
A couple of months ago, there was a discussion on the
afp-l@xxxxxxxxxx mailing list about problems being
encountered with the use of Word in the Windows Xp
environment when trying to create overlays and page
segments.
It seemed that documents coming from Word in the
Windows Xp environment were not being converted
correctly to MO:DCA format when passed through the
most up to date Windows Xp compatible AFP Printer
Drivers available from IBM's web site.
A work around that some people found for the problem
was as follows:
1. Save the Word document as a *.rtf document.
2. Open the document in Wordpad.
3. Print the document from Wordpad through the IBM AFP
Windows Printer Driver.
The resulting file was converted correctly on their
IBM host and their problem was resolved.
