Cluster-RMC SRC daemon auto start job

I put on V5R3 this weekend and it went smooth. One thing I have noticed is 
I have some spool files open in PRT01 that are coming from some jobs that 
I have listed below.

CSTCTCASD
QYUSCMCRMD
QSVRMSERMD
QYUSALRMD

Cluster-RMC SRC daemon auto start job

I think these deal with Cluster Resource Services and with Multithreaded 
Jobs.

I would love to know the following:

1) I do not cluster and probably will never cluster so does this need to 
be running.

2) What is threadsafe.

3) Is it something that I could use and if so I need an example.

4) should I just not concern myself with it.
