Sorry if I was not clear - work is murk - there was never a free product to create the indexes, but the reader has been free, and that was what I meant to say. ;-)

Couldn't find whether you "let us all know" how this turned out.  Is there a
"special version of Acrobat (still free)" for creating PDF indexes?
