The WyattERP project lives and breathes at Netshare/400 (63.167.147.13) and files DEFN/LINK/TEXT are a part of the application.

NOT part of the application is the toolset used to generate the code from those files. As you may appreciate, tools give one a competitive advantage.

The open source WyattERP used such a data definition application and generated the DDS (among other things) and could just as easily create the DDL.
