I have a program that uses QWCRSSTS.  It retrieves a bunch of stuff and
passes back the size of the system asp, %full, %temporary spaces and
%permanent spaces (the last two normally not a concern with RISC based
machines).  I designed it so that I can call it from my central iSeries
with a SQL CONNECT TO and a SQL CALL.  Now, if I get past that bug...

That's one great use of SQL.  Calling programs on a remote system and
getting the parameters back.  Takes no rewrite on the CALLED program.  Just
a modification on the calling program.

What is the preferred method for getting a single item from out from a
command such as WRKSYSSTS or WRKDSKSTS?
For example, if I want to just get the %ASP used from WRKSYSSTS & then send
it out in a mail message in a CL PROGRAM?
