There is a way to bypass all signon's into the AS/400 during the initial set-up of a client access session. I have one logon set up that way and it takes me directly into the 400. Unfortunately it was more of an accident when I accomplished this and now can't reproduce it. If I figure it out I will let you know. This will allow the user to bypass the traditional AS/400 signon screen once they have authenticated themselves to Client Access. This ends up being more secure because the traditional DDS signon screen sends user profile and password to the iSeries un-encrypted. CA does not send un-encrypted passwords. jte -- John Earl | Chief Technology Officer The PowerTech Group 19426 68th Ave. S Seattle, WA 98032 (253) 872-7788 ext. 302 john.earl@xxxxxxxxxxxxx www.powertech.com This email message and any attachments are intended only for the use of the intended recipients and may contain information that is privileged and confidential.
