Thanks all (apart from the Lancastrian section ;-) ) I copied the job description I was using and set the logging level to 4 00 *NOLIST. changed my user profile to use that and signed off/on and it is cured! I suppose that as only I use would use F9 that is why no-on else has complained about it! Thanks again for all your help and advice Steve -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Stefan Tageson Sent: Thursday, August 05, 2004 12:22 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: RE: F9 - Ok what have I done. Steve, "But it only does this for me, everyone else can F9, and if I create a new "profile for me it works ok. So can you turn off history logging for one "profile? If so how? It's most likely due to the logging level of the job. Do a wrkjob and look at LOG level: If you have a log level less than 2 i presume that's the reason that F9 does not work. The LOG level is part of the job description used in this job, perhaps you have a "special" job description tied to your user profile?
