Hi Greg

I don't suppose the machine was powered up in manual mode and not returned to Normal/Automatic mode ?

I don't know offhand whether this will affect the power down schedule as I never use that feature, but it makes sense to me that it would as your machine would not power back up as expected.

Hope this helps
Evan Harris

We use the power off and on tasks to shut down and restart the AS/400 each
weekend primarily to recover if there is a media error on the weekly backup.
It is undesirable to have everyone come to work Monday morning and find that
the machine has a message to be answered.

Three weeks ago the FE replaced the batteries in our disk controllers and
since then the machine has not powered off/on.

Does anyone have an idea of what I should check for? The power off/on
schedule shows the correct dates/time.

Thanks,
Greg
